IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) For Skin Rejuvenation

The Flash Lamp produces a light that is carefully filtered before it reaches the skin. This ensures that only the correct "types" of light are allowed to reach the skin - the non-useful wavelengths are removed by the filters.
The light that is allowed through has been chosen as it is the type that your natural body substances respond to.
Age spots contain a substance called Melanin, white blood vessels contain Haemoglobin. When cells containing an overabundance of Melanin or Haemoglobin are treated with the Flash Lamp, they are heated up and subsequently destroyed.
